Respect Your Roots Chapter Two: Land-Grant Mural

First and foremost, I want to give the biggest shoutout and thank you to John Zidar, the Creative Director & Lead Designer of Save The Crew (STC). He coordinated the logistics and painting of this mural and was there every step of the way with a helping hand. I also want to thank everyone else who volunteered their time to help paint: Morgan, Ethan, Alexxa, Chris, Jonathon, and The Dunaway Family (Beth, Spencer, Becky, and Ike). Thank you to Mike Kuhn for providing paint supplies and Jeff Zidar for the equipment and tools.  Lastly, a huge thanks to Save The Crew business ally Land-Grant Brewing Company for allowing us to create this and for hydrating us throughout the process!

STC Night with Cleveland SC

Making connections and creating relationships in the greater community is what Save The Crew is all about. Cleveland SC were gracious hosts last Sunday for a special Save The Crew Night at Don Shula Stadium on John Carroll University campus. Pizzaz On The Circle welcomed fans for pre-match festivities, and the good times carried over to the stadium, where the players were sporting limited edition Save The Crew pre-match tops during warm-ups. They were excited to show their support and had fun posing for photos.

Respect Your Roots: The Making of a Massive Mural

I can barely remember a time when soccer and art didn’t dominate my entire life. When I was 5 years old, the announcement that Columbus, Ohio, would be awarded the first Major League Soccer franchise sent my household into a full-blown soccer frenzy. I’ve been attending matches since the Columbus Crew started their inaugural season in Ohio Stadium, and have continued supporting the team throughout my entire life.
