Powell became the latest civic ally on Tuesday evening when they presented a proclamation to #SaveTheCrew supporters. The village expressed their desire to keep Major League Soccer’s original club in Central Ohio and join various suburbs who pledged their allegiance to the cause.
The City of Gahanna is home to Crew SC players Wil Trapp and Alex Crognale. Their parents represented #SaveTheCrew as John Trapp and Karen Crognale were on hand as the Gahanna City Council passed the resolution.
A big thank you to the @CityOfGahanna for unanimously adopting the resolution to Save The Crew. Our boys started their soccer careers at Headley Park with GSA and the community of Gahanna has been a huge support of their MLS careers. #savethecrew #Homegrownplayers pic.twitter.com/VR5okaWQ1h
